Born in Holon, Israel in 1985, Shaul Shelach grew up at the intersection of two cultures and one obsession — psychedelic electronic music.
In 2009 the name ShiBass was born. The debut EP "Oforia" dropped on Biomechanix in 2012. By 2014, "Indian Spirit" on Phantasm Records put him on the map internationally — a 145 BPM tribal psytrance weapon.
In 2017, ShiBass premiered his unofficial remix of Astrix's "Incoming" at Psy-Fi Festival in the Netherlands. Officially released on BlueTunes in 2018, the remix crossed 1.3 million streams on Spotify — a defining track of the era.
Since then, releases on BlueTunes, Iono Music, Phantasm, Treasure Records, Pink Revolver, and his own Audix Records. Festivals on four continents. Collaborations with Dapanji, The Freak Show, Beat Hackers, Katri, Vagus, Crazy Tone, Technodrome, and many more.
